1. Before Heating:
- Ensure that the meal is fully thawed if it was previously frozen.
- Remove the lid from the container before placing it in the microwave to avoid warping the lid. You can place the lid loosely on top if you wish to prevent splatters.
2. Microwave Heating:
- Place the container in the center of the microwave.
- Start by heating on HIGH for 2 minutes.
- Carefully check the temperature of the food. If it's not hot enough, continue to microwave in 30-second intervals until the desired temperature is reached. Remember, the time required may vary depending on the wattage of the microwave and the density of the meal.
- Let the meal stand for a minute to allow the heat to distribute evenly.
3. Safety Tips:
- Always be cautious when removing the container from the microwave as it can be hot. It's recommended to handle the container with oven mitts or a thick cloth.
- Stir the food thoroughly to ensure it's evenly heated.
- Test the temperature before consuming, especially if serving to children.
4. Storage:
- If you don't finish the meal, let it cool down completely before refrigerating. Do not reheat more than once.
Note:These containers are also marked as safe for use up to 120°F in the dishwasher, so they can be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, to prolong the life of the containers, hand washing might be preferable.
